Once upon a pole
“I believe that we learn by practice. Whether it means to learn to dance by practising dancing or to learn to live by practising living, the principles are the same. In each, it is the performance of a dedicated precise set of acts, physical or intellectual, from which comes shape of achievement, a sense of one's being, a satisfaction of spirit. One becomes, in some area, an athlete of God. Practice means to perform, over and over again in the face of all obstacles, some act of vision, of faith, of desire. Practice is a means of inviting the perfection desired.” ― Martha Graham

The Importance of pole and the community - AJ Fitness
AJFitness PT& Pole closed the show with a friendly upbeat piece on pole & the community and the power of pole in bringing people together and creating ever lasting friendship, where students truly trust in people that were once complete strangers, to spot you/ to be honest with you about what you are doing wrong /whether your move is looking good, in building each other up and boosting each others confidence and building the many pole families which exist today.
Everyone that performed for us did so for the first ever time, most of whom have only been poling for a year. They did amazingly in getting up in front of c.500 people and together overcome obstacles, fears and delivered an excellent performance. A great achievement and an amazing day.
Thank you all to everyone that came along to support and of course those that took part, you all made it super enjoyable and a truly memorable day!
