RE-OPENING NEWS

We are super excited to announce that our doors will be re-opening once again!


Lots of careful planning, risk assessing and consideration has gone in to how we can open in the safest possible way for our members - and he's a little summary as to how...


Class bookings - As before all classes are strictly pre-book & pre-pay. We will be allowing 4 week block booking and payg rate bookings.


Class numbers - To ease our members back in to classes, August will consist of a reduced timetable and class numbers have been reduced to 50% this means that every student will have their own piece of equipment.


Memberships - All memberships will remain on hold until we return to our full timetable.


Reducing class cross over - Classes will be 1 per pole and 50mins per class, the 10mins between class will avoid any cross over from class 1 and class 2. This will also allow class 1 to leave prior to class 2 arriving. This will also allow for floors, equipment and touch points to be cleaned between classes.


Entry and exit - To reduce touch points and control numbers in and out of the hall, the main doors will be out of use during class times. Prior to entry, students must queue (whilst socially distancing) at the fire door, where one way entry and exit will be manned by your instructor. Please be on time & please do not turn up super early.


What you will need - Students will be asked to attend 'class ready' as toilets and kitchen area will remain out of use. Please bring water bottles, grip aid, hand sanitizer, disinfectant spray, face mask, yoga mat & fresh clean socks (for use in pole area only) with you to each class.


Masks - We do ask that you wear a mask when entering and exiting the facility, when in communal areas, when cleaning your equipment and if requested when being spotted. You are not required to wear a mask whilst participating in the class, however, if you would prefer to do so, we fully support your choice to do so.


Spotting - Whilst our lessons will be planned to eliminate the need for physical spotting, your instructor may still spot you if there is a risk to your safety. If there is a need for close contact spotting, both you and your instructor will speak about this first, but in this case, it is advisable for both instructor and student to wear a mask. If you would prefer not to do so please let your instructor know.


Ways to keep you safe - Before during and after classes we ask that everyone keeps to strict social distancing rules. This means over 2m between individuals as much as possible. Current government track & trace guidance (which is subject to change) asks that where an individual tests positive for COVID anyone who has been within 2m of that person for 15mins or over, must self isolate for 14 days. We will therefore be asking everyone, to help keep each other safe, by maintaining a social distance of over 2m as much as possible.


Track & Trace - If you develop COVID symptoms or test positive for COVID within 14 days of attending a class, please let us know. We will take every step to keep our space COVID secure but will notify class attendees should anyone within the same class report symptoms.


How we intend on keeping you safe - Class sizes have been reduced to 1 per equipment to reduce sharing. Social distancing of 2m+ will be enforce at all classes. Equipment will be cleaned before and after every class by each student and then cleaned again by an instructor before each class. Floors will be mopped between each session. Students will be asked to bring their own yoga mat, own cleaner for poles (to reduce touch points and sharing). Students will also be asked to antibac before and after class and wear clean fresh socks within the pole area. Face masks will be require for face to face spotting and for communal areas. There will be a one way system to ensure social distancing when entering and exiting and soles of shoes will need to be sprayed with disinfectant BEFORE entering the studio space.


YOU MUST NOT COME TO CLASS - If you are feeling unwell, if you have developed symptoms, if you have been told to isolate or if anyone in your household is self-isolating. Or if you have returned from overseas and government guidance advices you to isolate.


121s and group privates - 121s will continue to run from the Welwyn hub for personal training, pole, hoop and aerial at the lockdown rate of £30 until further notice. To enquire contact Amanda or email info@ajfitness.co.uk


Online classes - Online classes will continue, however classes with low numbers may be cancelled. Check TeamUp for our August timetable.
