NEW CLASS ALERT - HAMMOCK / SLING CLASS - WEDNESDAY @ 6.30PM

Starting this week!


This class will be dedicated to the acrobatic side of hammock opposed to the aerial yoga side. So think pretty shapes, holds an combos for this one. Hammock is a great class to start with if you are new to aerial.


And if you are already a fully fledged flyer with us, hammock is a great way to mix up your training and a nice transition from hoop or pole.

Please note, during this class, no jewellery of any kind, no zippers or buttoned clothing is allowed as they can damage our apparatus, and long hair must be tied back.


NEW EQUIPMENT ALERT - SILKS - AERIAL CONDITIONING - TUESDAYS @ 7.45PM


Last week saw the introduction to silks within are aerial conditioning class on Tuesday evenings.


Silks is considered one of the hardest of the disciplines we offer, but is a great way to improve grip strength and upper body strength whilst feeling a huge sense of achievement.


Aerial conditioning is a mixed equipment class where we learn and perfect beginner exercises and combos on the olympic rings, trapeze, hoop and silks.


This class is considered a high intensity work out, in that you will be worked hard, however beginners are welcome and will very much be able to achieve lots during this class. If you want to get a bit of a sweat on, if you want to feel like you've had a hardcore workout, this class is for you.

NEW CLASS EXTENDED - EXOTIC POLE HEELS CHOREOGRAPHY


Due to it's popular demand, exotic has been added to the timetable for selected dates throughout March & April at the new time of 7.30pm. This class has also been opened up to all members, so even if you didn't make the first month, you are now able to get in on the fun!


MEMBERSHIP TOP UPS

With all of these exciting new classes and changes to the timetable, we have decided that our monthly members will be able to purchase a membership top up. So if you would like to do some extra classes in addition to your membership allowance, you will be able to do so.

Top ups are valid for 30days. To purchase, simply contact Amanda for the link.


GOLD members will be able to purchase an additional 3 classes for £16

SILVER members will be able to purchase an additional 3 classes for £21

BRONZE members will be able to purchase an additional 3 classes for £33


EDGWARE POLERS


This month brings to a close our classes at Onestonegrove. A business decision has been made that we are unable to continue to support our Edgware classes, however as a thank you to our Edgware members, throughout March we will be offering 20% off our Borehamwood monthly memberships and class packs. For historic Edgware members only. To validate, simply drop Amanda a message.


SHOWCASE - IMPORTANT NOTICE


This spring we will be hosting our first ever showcase, for our students to perform and display their skill in front of friends and family. It will be a fun even.

If you'd like to perform, entry is £60 and entitles you to 2x 121s (@AJFitness hub) to be used this month.

To secure your spot, payment must be made to AJfitness by 29th March.



REMINDERS

· UNREGISTERING FROM CLASSES

If you are unable to attend a class at short notice, please remember to unregister even if it is last minute. We don't tend to have time to check messages between classes, so unregistering your space lets us know exactly who should be turning up.

· MINIMUM OF 4

Please keep an eye on class numbers, if there is less than 4 expect your class to be cancelled. We cannot be individually notifying you before each class by private message! If a class is to be cancelled it will be updated on the booking system & if you are booked on, you will be notified by email. Occasionally we will also put a message on the members group but timetable is king. Please go by this for all classes.

· WAITING AREA

Please can I again remind you, if there is a class on-going, before your class, please refrain from entering the main hall, unless invited to do so by an instructor. This is to allow us to change equipment over quickly and safely & to keep class disruption or delays to a minimum. Thank you for your understanding.

· POOL TABLE & STRETCH AREA

Please could we keep the pool table and stretch wall clear of belongings. Please use the area by the chairs (and along that wall) for your belongings.


MEMBER OF THE MONTH

Our March member of the month goes to Jayne.


Jayne started hoop with us back in October and just wow is all I have to say!!


Jayne is now flying through our routines and combos and making getting in and out of the hoop look effortless.


Her strength, grip and stamina have all seen massive improvements and she's firmly slotted in as a resident member of the AJ hoop family.


Well done Jayne and we look forward to seeing lots more achievements over the coming months, including a possible showcase performance! ;)
