CORONAVIRUS UPDATE AS OF TUES 17TH MARCH
All classes will continue to go ahead as planned, however there will be no use of silks or hammocks during conditioning & all equipment will need to be wiped down between uses.
PLEASE DO NOT TURN UP IF
You are considered high risk
If someone in your household is considered high risk
You are ill
You are showing symptoms or have been in contact with someone that has
You have been out of the country (please allow 7 days)
Hammock will run but will be limited to one hammock per person / household. E.g husband & wife / mum & daughter may share.
Thankfully we are lucky enough that our studio space allows plenty of distance between pole and individuals, and all poles are at least 3 metres or so away from each other, so we are still able to continue with classes. Our classes will all be limited to 2 max per equipment and you will be asked to clean your equipment frequently and wash hands before and after class.
If you are not comfortable sharing a pole, and that is completely okay, please drop me a message so I am aware & I will advise the best class for you to attend to ensure you do not have to share.
Practice sessions will be bookable (these are in yellow on the timetable) and these will be to book out single pieces of equipment.
The next kids class will be on the 30th March and will continue to run if
schools remain open
parents are still happy for their children to do so
We will continue to monitor the above two points and will notify you accordingly.
If you look at the timetable, you will notice a reduced timetable, there will be no daytime pole and no Wednesday classes. There will be an additional change, in that after this week, conditioning will be removed for the time being and replaced with exotic on the Tuesday at 7.45pm - 8.30pm (sorry conditioners). Exotic ladies you will also have use of the poles until the warm up of the next class is complete and then you will have the stretch area from 8.30pm should you wish to go over any floor work or want to get your pics and videos.
WEEKS TO COME
The next two weeks will continue business as normal but under a reduced timetable.
I will continue to monitor the government and local council guidance and review accordingly.
In the event schools shut, this will be the point we take our kids class off of the timetable. In the event that a full shut down is brought in to place for public transport, gyms and businesses, this is the point we will put a hold on all classes and memberships.
HOW WE CAN WORK TOGETHER
Wash your hands before & after classes
Please do not eat in the hall, if eating please do so in the kitchen area and wash hands before and after
Use cleaning products regularly throughout class and between equipment swaps
Bring your own pole cloths so we have one per person rather than one per pole
Bring additional cleaning products, hand sanitizer etc AND please use them!
Clean your equipment, mats etc before, during and after class
Help us in wiping down doors, lights and switches each time you touch them
Let us know if there are additional things we can implement
Keep an open line of communication on how you are feeling throughout this uncertain time
HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT IT
Later today / tomorrow I will put out a poll asking for your views on it all and for your feedback on the measures we have announced and additional steps we are taking.
Thank you all for your help and support at this extremely unusual and challenging time xxx
