121s now open for booking

From this coming weekend 23rd May (and subject to government updates) we will be back up and running for outdoor 121 personal training sessions - subject to strict guidelines.

If you are not following the current government advice regarding contact with others, social distancing and meeting other people then you will not be covered to train with us.

  • 121 sessions will only be allowed outdoors

  • Only 1 session will be allowed per day to limit trainer interactions

  • All payments must be made in advance to avoid the unnecessary handling of cash

  • Gardens may be used where there is side access (without need of touch for client/ trainer entry) and where a strict 3m distance must be kept at all times

  • No inside use what so ever, for access, toilets, or for access to water

  • Parks and private land can only be used where land owner permission has been granted

  • You will only be able to attend 121 sessions if you are able to travel by walking cycling or by private transport

  • No public transport should be used to attend any sessions

  • If any hazards are identified, the ground is uneven or wet, or if the weather changes or your instructor feels the activities or area becomes unsafe for any reason, the session will be stopped / cancelled

  • Any planned sessions should be cancelled and should not take place if you or your instructor  are required to self-isolate under the government guidelines (e.g. if you, they or any member of the family household are exhibiting symptoms of Coronavirus or if guided to by government advice including the NHS contract-tracing Covid-19 App)


To attend a sessions you must


  • be following the current government advice regarding contact with others, social distancing and meeting other people

  • soles of shoes must also be sprayed down by instructor/ client before entering the training space

  • bring your own hand sanitiser for use before and after your session

  • bring your own disinfectant spray to spray all equipment before and after use

  • bring your own towel / mat

  • provide your own equipment you wish to use for your session

  • limited AJfitness equipment may be used but must be sprayed and properly cleaned and disinfected before and after use by both instructor and client

  • only use equipment which has been properly maintained and is safe for use


Outdoor pole or aerial equipment may be used, however

  • equipment must be purchased from a professional manufacturer

  • equipment must be installed / set up as per the manufacturer guidelines

  • equipment will not be shared by your instructor

  • no physical spotting will be given

  • Note we cannot accept any responsibility for faulty/defective equipment or incorrect installation

How to book

  • Step 1 : Contact Amanda with your preferred date, time and location

  • Step 2 : A virtual risk assessment will be undertaken

  • Step 3 : You will be sent a link via our booking system to book, pay and agree to the session terms


Group training, classes and indoor activities

All of our regular classes have been postponed following government advice given the global pandemic.

At this moment in time, we do not know when our doors will be back open or what our new normal will look like. We will continue to follow official guidance and when we know more we will be sure to keep you fully informed and up to date. 

We do hope to soon return back to :

121 training at the AJFitness hub in Welwyn Garden City with Hoop, Pole, Hammock, Yoga and Personal Training

121 and group classes at AJFitness in Borehamwood with beginner, intermediate & Advanced Pole, Spinny Pole, Exotic Pole, Hoop, Hammock & Aerial Conditioning as well as Yoga and Stretch classes including Splits and Back Bends. We also look forward to welcoming back our younger members to Kids Hoop and Kids Aerial.
